Roadtrip to Washington DC and Toronto

I went to Washington DC and Toronto with my dadu, moni, baba, mummy and Srishta this summer. On the first day we drove to Dayton, OH and stayed with dadu's friends. Next day we reached Germantown, MD where Avinash Uncle stays with his family in his big and beautiful house.

Over the next few days we visited the Lincoln memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the White House, the Washington Monument , the Smithsonian Air and Space museum and the Natural History museum.

On Saturday morning we drove to Toronto from Washington DC. On the way we stopped at the Niagara Falls. The Falls were lighted up in different colors and there were lovely fireworks. Late that night we reached Sarvpreet Uncle's house. He is my twin. We have the same birthday. Sarvpreet Uncle and Taruna Aunty have 2 children named Arjun and Preet. Taruna Aunty gave us Freezy Pops to eat. Another day we went to the beach on Lake Ontario. There was a park on the beach.

We got to have Ice Cream because we saw an Ice Cream Truck. Arjun had a Rocket popsicle, Srishta had a Spiderman Popsicle, Preet had a vanilla ice cream and I had a vanilla cone.

We went to see the Niagara Falls in the daytime with Uncle, Aunty and Arjun. We went on the boat, the Maid of the Mist. We had to wear blue raincoats on the boat as the boat goes very near the falls. Thats Srishta smiling at the camera. Arjun was very scared on the boat.

On our way back home we stayed at Michigan for a night. It was a long long trip.
